The usual high HPB standard. Note that there is only one parking space per apartment so visitors may need to park on the village car park about 200m away when all apartments are occupied.
Been coming here for years. Always nice, pub atmosphere is great.
The staff can't do enough to keep guests happy, nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, giving outstanding views & extensive walks. There are many local amenities & attractions within the area. This is a perfect base location.
You have to be a member of HPB to stay here but it is a lovely location with lots of good walking and within easy reach of Hawes, Leyburn and Richmond. The Kings arms is also owned by HPB but the bar and restaurant are available to all. They have theme nights and the Pie evening was very good.
Lovely few days in Lodge Yard.Very cosy well-equipped accommodation in the middle of the village .3 good pubs serving very good food and a lovely cafe on hand. Spotlessly clean,nice and quiet in this HPB complex. Highly recommended
Usual, immaculate, high standard accommodation in Askrigg, a beautiful part of the country. Perfect spot for walking direct from your accommodation or as a base for driving and exploring the Yorkshire Dales. So much to see and enjoy.
Absolutely stunning location in midst of dales. Walks from the door. Food in Kings Arms delicious and huge portions. Room, 4, booked late so no choice, beautiful, comfortable and spotless just a bit noisy as over bar and outside tables. Would stay in it again if no choice tho. Great boot room and club room. Fab mini break
Kings Arms great food and lovely staff. Sadly cannot say the same about the White Rose- awful service and food not great at all. Staff not interested in serving and don't seem to care enough about us punters who supply money for wages Lodge Yard great place to stay, staff of this HPB resort care very much. Property we were in cleaned to high standard. We will return.
